Tim Hardy

Tim Hardy on SEA AND BE SCENE and HEARD

Broadcast Date: January 29, 2020

Today’s guest is a fella who I connect with on a regular basis – no surprise really when you tally up the East Coast talent on his label’s roster. Artists like Chris Kirby, Quote the Raven, Chris Ryan, Mick Davis, Christina Martin, and on and on and on. Indeed SOUND OF POP is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to songwriting, music syncing, radio play and performances to be sure of it. And the man behind that steady stream of emails and phone calls is Tim Hardy. Now – I’ll save you some time doing a google search – the man keeps a very low profile and with very good reason – he’s too busy making sure the spotlight stays fixed on all those SOUND OF POP people and when he’s got time amidst all the promotions and placements – he’s out looking for the next great artist to add to their killer collection. I won’t kid ya – it took a little bit of coaxing and a healthy heaping of coffee to get him to step up to the SEA AND BE SCENE… And HEARD microphone – so last Saturday at a very busy shop we said down for a caffeine-infused conversation about the lot of it – including some great advice for new artists, and what it takes to have a song placed in a film or TV production – plus we’ll break some SOUND OF POP signing news, fit in First Things First get in a fun round of INsights IN 10 and of course plays some amazing SOUND OF POP music.  For sure there’s tons to talk about so let’s get to it. Here’s my conversation with the one and only Tim Hardy.
