After scoring a nomination for Rising Star Recording of the Year by the ECMA and winning Music Newfoundland’s Group of the Year Award – ya might say Quote the Raven are on a roll.
No surprise really when you have a listen to their stellar sophomore project GOLDEN HOUR.
Now the Newfoundland duo comprised of Jordan Coaker and Kirsten Rodden-Clarke have returned with another killer tune entitled “Hope” and it’s already climbing the Top 100 BDS Country Charts.
Since travelling to Nashville, Quote the Raven has been inspired and has found a new love in the Americana genre. Their new single “Hope” reflects the sounds of Americana folk and is a reflection of the journey the duo experienced over the past couple of years. Keeping true to their roots in Eastern Canada, “Hope” was written by both Jordan and Kirsten in addition to Newfoundland performer, producer and writer Peter MacDonald and award-winning producer and songwriter Chris Kirby.
