So here’s a quiz for ya – what do Rachel Cousins, Fortunate Ones, The Ennis Sisters, The Once and Alan Doyle all have in common?

Theyβre Newfoundland and Labradorians? – YES! But thatβs not it? Theyβre all incredibly talented? – Again true, but thatβs not the story. If you answered “They all worked together to make a great new EP called β SONGS FROM HOME“ you’d be entirely right!
Set for release on Friday, November 13th SONGS FROM HOME is available to pre-order now on Alanβs sight at alandoyle.ca

The SONGS FROM HOME EP is a special collaboration they created in isolation in the earliest days of the pandemic. Alan posted this great teaser of a picture on his Instagram page back in early October and just this past week when he officially announced the project when he wrote: βSongs From Home is really all about making and keeping connections at a time when it was so difficult to be connected. And I canβt wait to see you again, from the stage, through a computer, tablet or smart TV β however we need to do itβ
Thatβs right β if you werenβt able to get tickets to Alanβs sold-out shows here on the mainland or in Newfoundland β you can take in the concerts virtually with the first livestream show happening Friday, November 13th when his special guests will be Fortunate Ones and Rachel Cousins. The second show will livestream on Saturday, November 14th and he’ll be joined that evening by The Ennis Sisters and The Once.

Both St.John’s shows will take place at the Yellowbelly Brewery & Public House at the corner of Water Street and George Street – so a pretty small group of truly lucky folks there in person for the shows, but no doubt thereβll be tens of thousands of happy folks all over the planet taking it all in online.
Tickets are on sale now at alandoyle.ca β and with your purchase of virtual tickets will get you a bonus 20% discount on merch too! Wahoo
