Some exciting updates to share on Sheri Elwood’s comedy series FEUDAL… first of all, it’s now called MOONSHINE – so there’s that. Secondly, CBC has just confirmed its world premiere date will be Tuesday, September 14th, 2021.

We’ve been anxiously awaiting broadcast details on this Nova Scotia production since it began filming here on the South Shore last summer. With locations that feature Queensland Beach, Hubbards Camp Ground, the legendary Shore Club and even the home of SEA AND BE SCENE… And HEARD – CoveFM studios we simply can’t wait to see all those sweet spots on the small screen. Of course with Ms.Elwood at the helm, we’re really looking forward to all those laughs too!
The show was greenlit for a second season and once again we’re thrilled to have the stellar cast return to our little corner of the planet for all the “action” this summer.
Oh, and there’s one more exciting bit of scoop on Season 2 we can’t wait to share – we’ve vaulted it for now and we’re sworn to secrecy, but if you’re looking for a wee hint… it involves one of our favourite East Coast Fellas and we’re over the moon to know he’ll have a role in MOONSHINE. Stay tuned…
In the meantime – what follows is the official word from CBC on the series premiere of MOONSHINE.

Official Release – CBC June 2, 2021
MOONSHINE (Premieres Tues. Sept. 14; 8×60; Six Eleven Media and eOne) from creator, showrunner and executive producer Sheri Elwood (Call Me Fitz), is a raucous, one-hour dramedy that tells the story of the Finley-Cullens, a dysfunctional clan of adult half-siblings battling for control of the ancestral business, The Moonshine, a ramshackle summer resort on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, two stars on a good day — and that day was in 1979.
It’s an epic tale of lust, legacy and lobster, set against the backdrop of financial hardship, insane tourists, small-town intrigue and a long-buried secret that threatens to annihilate the Finley-Cullens once and for all. Featuring an ensemble cast including Jennifer Finnigan (Salvation), Anastasia Phillips (Reign), Emma Hunter (Mr. D), Tom Stevens (Wayward Pines), Alexander Nunez (Avocado Toast), Corrine Koslo (Anne with an E), Peter MacNeill (This Life), Erin Darke (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Farid Yazdani (Suits), Allegra Fulton (The Shape of Water) and Jonathan Silverman (Weekend at Bernie’s).
