Lindsay Watters on SEA AND BE SCENE And HEARD

Broadcast Date – March 15, 2023

Our chats will be just that very conversational, not entirely sensible and with any luck totally enjoyable…

And what a treat it was connecting with today’s guest. Oh, I’ve been following her on social media for a long while now and loving it. Truth be told we have her award-winning daughter Actress Charlie Jean Boyle to thank for making that connection. In fact, the whole family was in the Village of Chester a good while back and Charlie tagged me in a photo they had taken – which I happily reshared and ever since I’ve been keeping my eye on all of their amazing work.

Charlie who’s already amassed 25 roles, appearing in everything from CBC’s hit comedy Mr.D to AMC’s drama THE SINNER to a bunch of Hallmark movies and more. And Charlie’s little brother Oliver is an actor as well with small screen roles in Titans and This Hour Has 22 Minutes opposite Mark Critch and big screen turns in SPLINTERS and alongside Sigourney Weaver in THE GOOD HOUSE and more. But as every Oscar winner, this past weekend was quick to point out – they each owe a lot of thanks to their MOM!!!

So we’ll talk to Charlie and Ollie’s mom about how they’ve been able to book so much work throughout their young careers and much more – including what it takes to get started, the process for auditioning, where she draws the line when it comes to their scripts and how their century-old home in Chester is now on the radar with Screen Nova Scotia. Plus we’ll talk about the moment she decided to become an actress herself and get the scoop on two of her forthcoming roles. We’ll also get to 1st Things First, play a fun round of INsights IN 10 and even play her favourite soundtrack song while we’re at it.

AND as a bonus, we’ll connect with The Sidekick (while on her March Break vacation) so that we can debrief The 95th Annual Academy Awards. So with all that ahead we best get to it. Here’s my sit-down conversation with the one and only Lindsay Watters.
